Northern BC Museums Network began after organizing a small conference held at Heritage Park Museum in 2024. The single-day conference's goal was to unite heritage professionals across Northern BC and collectively tackle common challenges. The network's mission is to connect museums across Northern British Columbia to strengthen capacity, share knowledge, and build more resilient, relevant cultural institutions.
